Last week, Howspace was delighted to facilitate a dynamic gathering of more than 35 trade union professionals from Finland 🇫🇮 , Sweden 🇸🇪 , and Norway 🇳🇴
The united goal was to explore effective strategies for boosting member engagement and involvement. Our sessions focused on a critical question: how can we not only enhance the learning experience but also strengthen organizational processes?

Reflecting back on #TFEST24 in Berlin and skimming through the list of my notes I see that some of them are not new but still very actual, such as:
💡Strong SC = strong business [how much MORE time does a business need to get it?];
💡 80% knowledge is "tribal" [maybe even 90%?];
💡Making 100% knowledge mapping is not possible [my favorite ‘managing unknowns’ is still with me];
💡Sustainable supply chain starts with the board decisions [point 1 👆];
💡To be “green” costs a lot [🤔]!
💡We are [definitely] missing marketing of supply chain…
In AI era and transformation spirit we live in, the same statements are seen in a slightly different light that leaves me with an open question: so… does technology work for us or do we work for technology?

Get the inside scoop on CTP and where we're headed from the man and CEO himself, Remon Vos, in this interview with PropertyEU at EXPO REAL (Messe München) last week 📺
Here are three #fullspeed takeaways from the interview:
1. Mutifaceted growth 🚀📈
CTP is growing fast and 2/3rd of that new business growth comes from our existing client growth (... which affirms #GrowWithCTP isn't just a nice hashtag).
This growth comes from a variety of sectors — like e-commerce, defence, semiconductor, and automotive — and because of drivers like nearshoring and producing in Europe for Europe.
2. Diversifying our markets 🌱🌲🌴
In addition to our core CEE markets — the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, where we hold our market leader positions — we're expanding in Poland, Bulgaria and Serbia, but also in Western Europe.
In 2021 we a did a large acquisition in Germany consisting of standing portfolio and land where we're building more. In 2025, we expect to deliver 200k to grow with our German clients. We have also grown our team on the ground there to 80+ professionals.
3. Ready to act fast 🏁🏎️
We raised an ABB (Accelerated Bookbuild) for 300 million EUR. With this liquidity, we're ready to act fast on the right opportunities. We have our eyes on some opportunities, but we're not disclosing details yet... 😏
In short, we have a lot of solid momentum and are well-equipped for more! 🏹

It's always exciting to see the innovators that make it to the final of "The Spark - The German Digital Award". This year's winners SPREAD AI, aedifion, Aignostics, BackBone Ventures earn the same exposure as the other finalists.
But today I want to shine a spotlight on the team merged by enthusiastic colleagues from Handelsblatt Media Group and McKinsey Deutschland Österreich Schweiz who made this initiative such a success.
Bringing #TheSpark on the way takes the team about ten months. And obviously it’s not always all fun and games. But having a strong, resilient team that sticks together through both the exciting and the challenging times makes all the difference. When collaboration is tight and the focus is clear, even the toughest moments become manageable.
Keeping the head over water by being aware that you are surrounded by fantastic team mates who will always support you is the key to a well-functioning team structure.
From mapping the start-up ecosystem of the annual award theme, over managing invitations, or speakers, ensuring the technical equipment, or coordination of accommodation and travel...the team handles it all. Thanks to all of the many people who work on all these different workstreams.

📣 However, the current performance of Swedish organizations in Horizon Europe shows a significant deficit of about 30,000 years of work compared to similar countries in Europe.
What impact could this have on Sweden's future competitiveness and innovativeness?

This year, we had an incredible time during our Company Get Together in Munich, with our amazing teams from Cape Town and Lisbon joining us for a week of collaboration and fun.
Every year, these gatherings are a highlight for us. We share knowledge across departments, tackle challenging team activities, and, most importantly, enjoy each other's company. While we thrive in the digital world, nothing beats the value of meeting face-to-face. After countless Teams meetings, it was refreshing to connect in person with everyone again!
One of the highlights was our mini robot challenge. Teams had to build and code robots with minimal instructions—something we’re all too familiar with! The result? Creative solutions, supportive teamwork, and a whole lot of fun racing our robots on our own track.
We’re excited about what we accomplished together and can’t wait to share more!

1. I joined INGLAS GmbH & Co. KG in June, and it’s been a fast-paced, rewarding journey since day one and being part of this team and contributing to their innovative vision has been a fantastic experience.
A standout moment was attending InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin last month. From writing articles to designing flyers and building an exhibition booth from scratch, it’s been hands-on, and I’m really proud of our results.
What’s really struck me is just how many companies, across different sectors, are delivering innovative, value-driven solutions that most of us are unaware of, but benefit from daily. For instance, Inglas’ Impact Sentinel sensors are safeguarding Swiss mountain railways—a route I’ve taken many times. As passengers, we often don’t realize the technology working behind the scenes to keep us safe.
2. When I saw the job listing for this role, I thought, “Hang on, I can do that!!”
In the past, I might have hesitated to apply due to self-doubt or thinking, "I won't get it, what's the point!". But this time, I backed myself, believed in my abilities—and I’m so glad I did. So if anyone is reading this and has seen a job role they want - go for it it! : APPLY!
