Addressing start-ups and misleading Job Ads: • 𝐼𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑎𝑛 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦-𝑙𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙 𝑗𝑜𝑏, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. • 𝐼𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑒𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑟𝑒 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘆. It's simple! You can't require 4-6 years of experience for PKR 90,000 and complain "no one wants to work." #JobMarket #EntryLevelJobs #PayFairly #EmploymentStandards #HiringPractices #FairWages #JobSearch #Employment #WorkplaceFairness #CareerOpportunities #JobPosting #EqualOpportunity #WorkLife #Recruitment #JobHunt #PayEquity
Job posting says entry level position, freshers can apply. When you get a call- how can we hire you when you have no experience :))))
I have seen most HR's posts about junior / entry level roles and asking 3+ years of experience. with salaries of an almost internee level strange
Strong opinion but mostly HRs exploit such situations and then they save some money for their companies.
But in our culture only that HR is appreciated who brings in an individual at a less payscale.
Couldn't agree more. I've been rigorously job hunting and all job ads marketed as entry level position require 1 to 3 years of experience. It is absurd.
Strongly agreed! But some HR works against this rule and then they posts on Linkedin “people nowadays are not sincere to their jobs i hired a person and after 3 days he left the job, we spent our time, money and effort on hiring/training, blah blah blah”
Valid point! Pay scale must be justified under all circumstances; let it be entry level, mid level or advanced level.
Shukar ha Koi Tu Samja Employee Ki pain !
Fair pay for entry-level roles requires a mindset shift: from 'what can you do for us?' to 'what can we do for you?'

4moI have gone through more or less a similar experience, start ups are misleading in so many ways, hiring people on titles of a specific domain and making them work entirely different thing and expecting people to learn in a day or two even after that they expect employees to cooperate, salary is another issue because they don’t want to pay according to the experience rather expect a experienced individual to work on low wages just because people need jobs to survive.
