Here’s a leadership tip for you to ponder as you wrap up your busy week, spend time with your near and dear ones and rejuvenate yourself over the weekend. When you are a leader, your responsibility is not for just doing the job; rather, you are responsible for hiring and developing your team which includes inspiring, coaching, mentoring and motivating each of your team member to become the very best version of themselves, which will help them produce their very best work. This also means that you must treat your team members first as humans and spend time with them to understand where they are in their personal or professional journey so that you can really help them grow. As a leader, we often times have schedules that can be burdensome. That is leaving little time to recognize and celebrate success of our teams. To ensure I recognize individuals or the team, is to note when there is an achievement. A handwritten note or have a five minute to give praise to the accomplishment.
