This simple trick got me my first 1000 page views as a new blogger last year ⤵️ December 2022 when I decided to get full-time into blogging and take my website seriously, I was only receiving a mere 200-300 page views. These views came from people who were checking my website once in a while. There was no content strategy in place, absolutely none. So, in January 2023 when I started with a refined strategy, I knew what I had to do to get my foot into the blogging door. An Awards Bait Blog: With this strategy, you create a blog where you mention your competitors and highlight their best parts. For example: I created a blog titled “23 Self-Help Blog You Must Follow in 2023”. This requires a lot of research and work (obviously). This is how it works ⤵️ 1. You publish the blog 2. You send an email informing them 3. They share their achievements with their community 4. Those people check out your blog 5. When I decided to work on my blog in December 2022, I was getting 100-200 views; this was without any sincere efforts because my website had been up and running since August 2020 and I was posting on-off through the months. But, once I took things seriously and began working on my content marketing & blog strategy, I crossed 1800 page views the next month i.e. January 2023. Today, my blog easily crosses 8,000 views per month and I know it will only move forward from here as I continue improving my efforts 🫶 So, if you’re an aspiring blogger reading this, know that your writing skill only demands one thing from you: to write consistently and improve it one day at a time 💕 Take things at your pace and don’t rush towards the big numbers.
