YC companies don’t just ship fast—they obsess over the details 🚀 When we revamped NewsCatcherapi.com (YC S22), we realized something simple: a navbar isn’t just navigation. It’s your site’s first impression. We added a subtle hover animation to their navbar links—nothing flashy, but purposeful. Here’s the truth: Top startups don’t get a pass for clunky UX. Their users expect seamless interactions, and tiny details can make or break that trust. What’s one small UX detail that stuck with you recently? Link to this site in the comments 👇🏻

✨ Keep It Simple but Powerful ✨ About two months ago, Pranay Singal approached me to revamp his startup's website, running for 2 years. His goal: simplicity and ease of use for students. After 6-7 iterations, we landed on a design we both loved and we started the development and worked on a quick QA sync every 2 days. Key Considerations: ❖ Auto-layout + Responsiveness 🦾 ❖ Built on Bubble, with some limitations 👽 ❖ Clear and straightforward content ✍🏻 ❖ Focus on conversions, not just views 🚀 ❖ Clear CTA 👀 ...and more Check out the results below! 👇🏻 Thanks to Pranay Singal for the collaboration and for allowing me to share this project. 🚀 #Design #WebDesign #Startup #UX #Bubble #UserExperience #CTADesign #WebDevelopment

How Can Startups Optimize UX Design for a Successful MVP? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gA5Ja3xF #StartupStruggles #UXDesign #MVPDevelopment Hey there, fellow tech enthusiasts! 👋 I recently jumped on board with a startup as a founding engineer, and let me tell you, it’s an exciting rollercoaster ride. 🎢 Right now, we’re in the throes of developing our MVP (Minimum Viable Product), and one big hurdle we’re facing is figuring out how to nail down the UX and UI. Here’s the situation: the founders want me to take charge of designing a user experience that’s not just functional but also engaging. I’ve put in some effort and crafted a few design concepts, but honestly, they’re not quite hitting the mark. The founders are struggling to articulate what’s missing, which adds another layer of confusion. 🤔 In my opinion, bringing in a dedicated UX/UI designer could really elevate our process. Here are a few pain points I’ve noticed that might be affecting our users: - **Misalignment on Vision:** If we don’t have a clear understanding of user needs, it’s tough to create a design that resonates. - **Lack of User Testing:** Without input from actual users, we’re guess...

𝑼𝒔𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒆-𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏 🚀 I recently wrapped up a project where user feedback completely shifted the design direction. It’s always fascinating how something you’re confident about can feel off once real users interact with it. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in UI/UX is the importance of staying flexible. We, as designers, can easily get attached to our initial concepts, but users often highlight issues or ideas we didn’t even consider. In this case, their feedback led to a smoother flow and a more intuitive experience overall. It’s a reminder that design isn’t just about what looks good—it’s about what works best for the people using it. Listening to real user insights early in the process saves time, effort, and often leads to a better end result. Have you ever had user feedback completely change your design approach? How did you handle it? I’d love to hear about your experiences! #userexperience #userinterface #uiux #usertesting #designcommunity #hiringdesigners #startups #linkedincommunity #productdesign
