In Pakistan's IT sector, the concept of a startup or new business unit has often become synonymous with merely copying existing ideas and replicating them without any innovation or differentiation. This trend is leading to the commoditization of the industry, where there's little to no uniqueness among companies. The formula seems to be straightforward: 1- Hire the same talent as the competition. 2- Copy and paste their website and packages. 3- Run PPC, Bark, or Facebook ads. But how long can we sustain this approach? I am genuinely inspired by the innovation and differentiation seen in Indian IT companies and startups. After watching Shark Tank India, I was struck by the creativity and unique solutions being developed. Some notable examples include: https://www.intervue.io https://lnkd.in/e7n27vA6 https://designtemplate.io/ It's time for us to aim higher. Let's focus on building original products and solutions that not only make an impact but also drive substantial profits. We have the talent and the potential—let's use it to create something truly remarkable. #ITCompany #Startup #India #Pakistan
Originality always prevails, no doubt about it. But the average mindset has fine-tuned itself to survive. Not that I am of the mind that this copy/paste culture is correct. It's definitely not. I just want to understand how we can change this. How can we motivate our employees and teams to be more innovative & take ownership. Businesses want to earn to keep the ball rolling and teams are often left with fairly little options to outperform competition. What could be the possible solution here?
Showzeb Jaffri bhai I wish ye baat start ups ko samajh ay. Jitna competition hai Ab vo time nahi hai k cold calling se targets ho jain. Ppl really need to change their mindset.
The same thoughts I have, it has become culture of Pakistan that plagiarized things to obtain revenue while things are going advanced around the world. We rarely take initiatives to go further and develop new strategies. People are so comfortable with the doings.
The mentioned ones are just simple ideas but definitely unique in their own way!
What an observation! If only people here had brains alongside money.
Great advice!
Insightful!
Good point!

4moWe mostly deal with service-based companies like call centers or digital agencies, and we like to call them software houses without really knowing what a real software house is. We can't compete with India because they have a product-based economy. our agencies can't even afford new marketing ideas or approaches, let alone the idea of creating software that seems light-years away. All they care about is the Dollar. Jo $1500 marketing py laga ky itna shor daalty hain ky dollar kahan hai. Woh kya innovation ya experiment afford kar sakte hain? No way. And the 2nd major reason is the lack of education. No one is interested in learning new things. Sabko short term shashky chahiye..Hath me vape..rant ki gari or life set. kya karen gy parh kar? And even those who want to learn have no institution like IIT or IIM India.
