Just finished a refreshing and illuminating AI Governance Masterclass from OneTrust. This space is incredibly dynamic and only growing in depth of complexity, nuance, and knotty unknowns. AI/gAI technology is sprinting mercury-fast, and our governance machinery plods and marches dutifully along to some future high-noon showdowns. I'll keep banging on about this every day to my firms. The risk of AI in your operations or tech stack are simply not well known or understood yet. It is an emerging technology... Do we ban it completely? Do we use it sparingly? Do we use it only when there is no personal information involved? I don't really know the answer yet. But I'm having discussions with my clients and staff and developing a framework policy simply for disclosure. Sean Graham is 100% right here. We all need to start developing a generative AI policy and putting a framework in place with staff. #AI #financialadvisers #accountants #software #businesses
