We are working with one dynamic manufacturing company to improve how people treat each other at work by providing training on the PoSH Act of 2013.
Despite having good rules in place, the company still had problems, so we knew we needed to train everyone better and make them more aware.
How we did it:
1. Tailored Training: We made custom training courses that fit the company's values and the types of people working there to keep everyone interested.
2. Engaging Workshops: We held workshops where we talked about the PoSH Act in detail, what harassment is, how to report it, and how everyone is responsible for stopping it.
3. Real-life Practice: We used real examples and interactive situations to help people practice dealing with tricky situations at work.
4. Team Learning: We encouraged everyone to talk openly and ask questions, so we all learn together.
What changed:
1. Better Culture: People started treating each other with more respect and inclusivity in their daily work.
2. More Reporting: More people spoke up about problems, showing they felt more confident and knew where to get help.
3. Approval from Leaders: HR and bosses liked the positive changes and our efforts to keep everyone safe and happy.
4. Following the Rules: People kept following the PoSH Act, proving they were serious about fairness and respect.
What's next:
We'll keep working with the company, doing regular check-ins and updates to make sure everyone stays aware of the rules and any new changes.
In short our work shows that training and talking openly can make a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and listened to.
