A few weeks ago, I shared that SHIPTO (www.shipto.ug) is stepping into the public eye.
What I didn’t mention is that I’ve decided to build it in public!
What does that mean?
It means I’ll be sharing what I’m working on, the decisions I’m making, and the reasons behind them.
Think of it as a behind-the-scenes look at how SHIPTO is growing and evolving!
This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and now feels like the perfect time to take you along for the journey.
Since that announcement, I’ve hit the reset button after a successful MVP to plan for an even better rollout.
Here’s what we’ve been working on:
- Listing products in high demand categories
- Simplifying products pricing to make it fair, transparent, and easy to understand.
- Streamlining shipping to ensure it works better for you, no matter where you’re located.
One tough decision I’ve made is to base store pricing in dollars.
Why?
Switching to dollar-based pricing allows us to maintain consistent pricing across all our products, regardless of currency fluctuations.
It also simplifies our operations as we prepare to expand into new markets, ensuring we can scale efficiently while still giving you the best value.
But don’t worry – when you shop, you’ll still see prices in your local currency.
I’m so excited to share this journey with you and hear your thoughts along the way!
