The event industry is FILLED with curveballs but when we added this 6' LED Awareness Ribbon 🎗 to our inventory during breast cancer awareness month in 2023, it was symbolic of our support of those around us battling something. But NOW... it's personal. We no longer sympathize. We UNDERSTAND what it means. We understand how important it is to drive awareness. We comprehend the magnitude of what it can cause. We've lived out the impact it can have emotionally, mentally, spiritually, financially, and physically. It can represent dismantled families, shattered hopes and dreams, shifts in priorities, and redefining life in every way. We pray that at every event this enters, it represents: 🎗PREVENTION 🎗AWARENESS 🎗CURES 🎗SURVIVAL 🎗RESILIENCE 🎗REMISSION 🎗VICTORIOUS BATTLES This Teach on it Tuesday was a lesson learned over the last 11 months. May you never have to learn it from experience. __________________________________ ➕𝑭𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 & 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒔 S.H.I.F.T. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but for me, it’s not just a month—it’s a personal journey that has shaped my life and my career. This photo was taken during my first chemo treatment. I’m a triple-negative breast cancer survivor, and the fight against breast cancer has become a lifelong mission. It fuels my passion for health equity, innovative healthcare solutions, and advocating for those navigating their own health journeys. As we raise awareness this month, let’s remember the importance of early detection, access to quality care, and supporting those affected by this disease every day of the year. This is why I’m dedicated to driving innovation in healthcare, with a focus on empowering individuals to take control of their health through technology and support. To everyone battling breast cancer, survivors, and those advocating for a cure—you are not alone. Together, we fight, innovate, and thrive. #BreastCancerAwareness #HealthEquity #InnovationInHealthcare #Survivor #TripleNegativeBreastCancer #EarlyDetection

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as employers, we play a vital role in supporting the health of our teams. Breast cancer affects both women and men, and while death rates among women have decreased by 42% from 1989 to 2021 due to early detection and improved treatments (Source: American Cancer Society), there’s more to be done. We can contribute to this progress by: ▶ Encouraging open conversations about health ▶ Supporting time off for screenings ▶ Raising awareness of risk factors and symptoms ▶ Offering wellness programs and emotional support Let’s ensure our teams feel supported and informed. Together, we can make a difference—because every life is precious. 📢 We need you to help us with our campaign for #breastcancerawareness month in October. This year our campaign is called '1,000 Truths' highlighting the sobering statistic that 1,000 lives are lost every month to this incurable disease. We are asking 1,000 people to share their personal stories about living with, or caring for someone with, secondary breast cancer to raise vital awareness across our channels and wider afield. These stories will form an important part of our campaign - and the more voices we have, the more we will be heard. Please share your story here and ask others you know to take part too: https://lnkd.in/gj3bwBr8. It's only a few questions that we need answering and an image (if you are happy to share). Help us get 1,000 people involved! #livingwithsecondarybreastcancer #1000truths #make2ndscount
