Excellent podcast covers the growth of #fractionalexecutives including why firms should hire them, and how skilled workers can get started as a fractional executive/manager. Fractional executives are part-time execs that enable firms to benefit from their skills without the expense and commitment of a FT hire, while allowing these execs career flexibility and stability. One of my favorite parts is when the podcast guests explain to the host why they think call this group fractional executives is a much better name than part-time executives. The host agrees, but the podcast's title uses "part-time executives". The podcast summarizes an HBR article (a link is in the comments), but the podcast is not behind HBR's paywall (the article is). #gigeconomy #futureofwork
