As someone who loves working in the Employee Experience space this talk is spot on. Focus groups, development talks, and one on one's with employees have all provided leadership with the answers on what employees need to be successful. I particularly like his point about how many people a person in management should manage. It truly is not some set number. It should be based on the complexity of the roles, the project needs, the employees needs. If we want to hire the best we need to have an employee experience that is the best. That includes having a culture where employees and managers can be honest when we are not at our best. Sharing the highs and the lows builds trusting teams. Follow through builds thriving teams. And intentional communication is the foundation of a great employee experience.
