It's been a few months since I paused my studies and learning. Lately, I've felt a resistance towards my usual responsibilities and an urge to escape my duties. This has led me to question why. Reflecting on my journey so far, I recognize that I've been running through life. I feel offended by the HRs who didn't select my applications during those days of applying to over 20 jobs a day. Disappointments make me slow down. I find myself taking a step back. I know I'm not alone in this feeling. Many of us find ourselves scrolling through LinkedIn, reading about others' successes, and feeling the weight of comparison. But it's crucial to remember to stay calm and let things flow. Setbacks and pauses are a part of the journey. Just because success isn't immediate doesn't mean we're not destined for it. Give yourself grace. Try not to be in a race as I do. It's okay to take a break or experience a period of seeming stagnation. It doesn't define your worth or your future. The right time will come.

To all the talented interns and young professionals (CA/MBA/ACCA), want to remind you: Don't compare yourself to others; focus on your unique strengths.
