Despite a tough loss on the world stage, I’m incredibly proud to share that our recent League of Legends World Championship match hit a peak viewership of over 2 million—the highest for our team this year. 🙌 Our roster, made up of rookies who pushed beyond expectations to earn a spot on the international stage, has captured the attention and support of our community. Losing like this isn’t easy—it’s never easy. But we see these moments for what they are: a chance to learn, to recalibrate, and to come back stronger. The disappointment is real, but it’s also a testament to how much we’ve grown and how much potential we have ahead of us. Even through these challenges, the level of engagement we’re seeing speaks volumes. It tells me that our team is on the right track and that our decision-making is building something truly meaningful. Thank you to our fans, partners, and everyone who’s been part of this journey. Playing American Football greatly shaped my mindset and my approach to life. I was playing defense, so my job was to tackle and hit the opponent. Boy, I loved it! Let’s be real, I was also hit many times. That’s the first lesson this sport taught me, no matter how hard you get it, just take it, and keep going. I was facing bigger, stronger, and better players most of the time. That’s the second lesson here, no matter the difficulty, you have to show up and face it. I lost more duels than I won. I lost more playoffs games than I won. Some losses still hurt today. That’s the third lesson, in life like in sports you have to embrace failure, it’s part of the process. Keep going. Learn from it. The greatest lesson I learned was that I had to get better to help my team be better. By dedicating my time to working out, practicing, watching tape, …, I was making me better and making my team better. That’s the same in life, by improving yourself you help your company, your colleagues, your family get better. I will always be thankful to this sport and to the organisations that supported me back in the days. #nfl #fffa #mindset

Arrived home at 5:00am last night, but for good reason! We just secured a huge playoff win on the road, and I couldn’t be prouder our team. Winning in a tough environment like that takes resilience, determination, and trust in those around you. As I reflect on this win, I want to share three valuable lessons from playoff football: 1. Perseverance Pays Off – Life will throw challenges your way, but it’s the ability to keep pushing forward—no matter the obstacles—that leads to success. 2. Preparation is Key – Success doesn’t happen by chance. Whether in work, relationships, or personal goals, preparation and hard work set you up for the win. 3. Trust the Process – Growth takes time. Trust the journey, stay consistent, and know that each step forward builds toward something greater. Next week, we’re facing the #5 team in the country. How's that for a difficult conversation Imagine this. You lead a team that's, well, pretty good, in fact world class at its job. One person has been a part of this team for years and years. And years. He could have retired/left, but he's hugely motivated, does a good job with great skills which he has kept updated (not too many I know in that league) and is a quiet guy, not one of those, I-told-you-so or Been-there-done-that or Who-are-you-to-tell-me-this human blot on the landscape. He knows he's lucky to be here, in this charged-up high-performing team. You, the team lead, are many years younger (and less wiser) than him. The team's changing now, there's a challenge ahead. The think-tank, which includes you, has now decided that the veteran must retire, ....even though he's still up there on performance. You can't ask him to leave, no cold email or phone call. This must be an in-person meet, encased in dignity. Practise this conversation with him in your head. Easy, queasy?
