WELCOME to "Caring for You at the Crossroads" https://lnkd.in/eSsbAPtK At this difficult time in history, many of my friends, colleagues, and clients are suffering. They need powerful, efficient, and effective tools for self-care, not only for these present painful days, but also to endure the long haul -- and leaders need ways to stay balanced and effective as they manage deep divisions of opinion and conflict in their organizations. Because I know that self-care is hard to remember and easy to skip, please let me lend a helping hand via this series of Crossroads videos where I will take care of you by providing easy, quick practical ways to feel better and regain your strength in the days ahead. I dedicate this At the Crossroads series to John Lewis, one of my all-time heroes, who famously said: "Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble." This Crossroads series is my way of supporting you to add your own gifts and noise to this growing movement for good trouble. Thank you for joining me! Please share this series with anyone you love who is also struggling. #selfcare #leadership #crossoads #balance #healing #power #caring

Let your light shine, because when you do, you unconsciously give others the permission to do the same. Don't be afraid to liberate yourself from fear - your presence automatically liberates others. Every one of us has accumulated and carries emotional wounds - it's simply part of the human experience. The question is -- to what extent are you aware of them and how they govern your life and are you working to heal them? When we don't understand how our wounds run us, we unknowingly foist this pain onto those we serve, lead, work with, and try to love. It shows up as a toxic environment and registers as hurtful experiences that diminish effort, perseverance, creativity, support, and ultimately results. In this episode, Raj Sisodia shares some of his most intense wounds and how he's learned to feel into them and heal from them. Drawn from his 16th book, the only one that features his personal narrative to invite us to examine our own, Awaken: The Path to Purpose, Inner Peace, and Healing is your invitation to elevate your whole life. Listen in to hear just a few pearls from his book, and why sharing them were so important to Raj's journey toward purpose, then to peace, and onto awakening. Life changing. If you don't know Raj just yet, one of the things he's known for is co-founding the global Conscious Capitalism, Inc. movement which stands to elevate humanity through business. That's how I originally met him, thanks to my membership in Conscious Capitalism Dallas, alongside fellow members like Justin McCorkle, Shelley C., Jennifer Scott, Brian Wing, Nimesh Shah, Christopher Carrion, Julie Michelle Morris, Josiah Holland (M.Ed.), Chase W. Bryant, Tim Thurston, Lori Darley, Larry Leon, Lauren Law, Mike Sullivan, and so many others. #consciouscapitalism #healingjourney #innerpeace #innerpeacejourney #awaken #awakenyoursoul #consciousleadership #consciousliving #consciousness https://lnkd.in/giHhutyX

Stepping into Children's Hospital Colorado yesterday was like diving into a whirlwind of emotions. Amidst the pain, there was an undercurrent of joy, and tears of both sadness and happiness flowed freely. The atmosphere crackled with inspiration, grit, and determination, making it a place unlike any other. As I waited for my son's final X-rays after his year-long journey with a broken ankle and some shiny new screws, I couldn't help but be struck by the resilience of everyone around us. Kids in there were fighting like TITANS... and the staff? They were total rockstars. Serious when they needed to be, but always ready with a joke or a smile to lift spirits. It was a powerful reminder that healing isn't just about fixing bones—it's about nurturing the soul too. And in that moment, it was clear that even in the darkest times, we're never truly alone, if we are okay with opening our door. Reflecting on this experience, I'm reminded of the TITAN 100 community. It's a group of individuals who battle, fight for their beliefs, challenge norms and push boundaries. But they're also servant leaders, always putting others first and lifting spirits along the way. It's a community that understands the struggles...the sleepless nights...but never lets off the gas! Leadership can be a lonely road at times, but when you're surrounded by vision, impact, and support, it fuels you to keep moving forward. I'm grateful for that broken ankle. It taught us both so much about resilience, about ourselves, and about the beauty of the world around us. And I'm thankful for a community that pushes me to be the best version of myself, not just as a leader...but as a dad too! www.titan100.biz #Titan100 #TitanCEO #inspiration #leaders #inspire #fight #grit #determination #community #support #leadership #humble

In the journey of our lives, we come across three types of people: the leaf people, the branch people, and the root people. 🍁 Leaf people are those who drift into our lives only for a season. They bring unique lessons and beauty, even if their presence is temporary. Their purpose is to teach us lessons that are only meant to last till the leaves fall. 🌿 Branch people are more connected to us. They stick around through a few seasons, supporting us in times of need. However, they might break away when a storm comes, teaching us resilience and the importance of flexibility in relationships. 🌳 Root people, on the other hand, are the rarest. They are the foundation of who we are. Root people help us grow, support us unconditionally, and are there through every season of our lives. They remind us of our strength and our true value. Cherish every person you meet along your path. Each one has a role in your growth. #LifeLessons #LeafBranchRoot #GrowthMindset #WhichAreYou

Are you constantly saying "yes" to everyone but yourself? 🤔 I get it—I’ve been there too, caught in the cycle of people pleasing. But here’s the truth: every time you say yes when you want to say no, you’re giving away a piece of your life. It's time to break free from this pattern. 🚫 Prioritize your needs, set boundaries, and teach others how to treat you. Remember, it’s not selfish—it’s essential. 💪 #PeoplePleasing #BoundariesMatter #ConfidenceBoost #PersonalGrowth #SayNoWithConfidence #Empowerment
