Curious about how much you need to save for retirement? The answer varies based on your lifestyle, retirement date, and other income sources. Experts suggest aiming for 8-10 times your annual salary or 65%-80% of your pre-retirement income per year in retirement. Key Factors to Consider: ➡ Retirement Date: Plan for at least 30 years in retirement. Advances in healthcare are extending lifespans, potentially requiring more savings than anticipated. ➡ Income Sources: Include fixed income like Social Security and pensions, variable income like rental earnings and dividends, and withdrawals from savings and investments. ➡ Lifestyle and Expenses: Luxurious living requires more savings compared to a modest lifestyle. Consider the cost of living in your chosen location, housing needs, and healthcare costs. Saving Strategies: ➡ Automated Investing: Automate contributions to your retirement accounts. ➡ Regular Contributions: Gradually increase your savings percentage annually. ➡ Setting Goals: Prioritize retirement savings to benefit from compound interest. MTF searches for and matches the closest publicly traded ticker to your unmatched holdings, including stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs. How to Use Magic Ticker Fill: 1. For any unmatched holdings, click the Magic Ticker Fill button. 2. The system will search for and assign the closest publicly traded ticker to each unmatched holding. 3. One of the magical things about a dividend growth investing (DGI) strategy is the predictability of both the dividend and the growth of that dividend. Because we are not predicting stock market returns, which can change from year to year or trend downward just as we are about to retire, it becomes much easier to plan our retirement if we focus more on the dividend. https://lnkd.in/g2UGS7bu

A great look at how "investors can generally reduce their tax losses in a portfolio" by using ETFs over mutual funds. "ETFs come with tax magic that’s unrivaled by mutual funds," though this magic is most at play for "investors in taxable brokerage accounts."
“It’s almost always an advantage to have your stock portfolio in an ETF over a mutual fund” in a nonretirement account." "U.S. 'growth' stocks — a stock subcategory — saw more than 95% of their total return come from capital gains in the five years through September 2024...That makes them 'the greatest beneficiary of ETFs’ tax efficiency.'" https://lnkd.in/gtbbyfiQ
