Our family tradition is to make kapunka on Christmas Eve. It’s an old Czech recipe from my great-grandmother that consists of a homemade beef and veggie broth and dense dumplings. The joke is that my grandmother disliked it so much that she slathered it in Heinz 57. Now we ALL use it as part of the recipe. Happy holidays!
