Professional Services, Products and Commoditising Knowledge. Consultants, Advisors, Trainers, Coaches, Facilitators - we are all in the business of delivering knowledge - but - is their a format of delivery that is better than others? ✴ At this point in the river, I'd suggest, "no! not better, so much as different pending what feels more aligned with your style." - For example, I'm a hybrid of these two business models here. But I didn't know that, nor was I able to really leverage that, until I sat down and teased it out. ✴ Coaching + Workshops are an excellent area to have some fun in, and... I reckon Programs, Consulting, Advisory, and Training (PCAT) - leveraging tech like E-Learning, Apps, Dashboards, Online Courses - are a natural evolution. Anyway... ✴ As it goes, these 2 business models feel quite obvious now that I've taken pen to paper, only it wasn't at all clear to me before I started. So, I figured I'd share the summary here, in case it can helps you tease out whatever it is you're creating next.
