#HIversusAI I chanced upon this article which was recently published and caught my attention. May sound as a joke but certainly it showcases grim reality around need of Computing Power. GenerativeAI seems like a buzzword now a days. Every technical discussion and solutioning talks about implementation of GenerativeAI. Sometime it seems that solution for all of our life's problem is AI This article shows us the clear picture around kind of investment one needs if we want develope, train and implement a GenerativeAI model. JUST TO SHARE, A SINGLE NVIDIA'S H100 GPU COSTS ABOVE USD 40K AND THERE IS WAITING PERIOD. Even if we opt for cloud solutioning, apart from security and data concerns, we will be spending a big portion of budget as recurring charges.
