Amazon Product Research Strategies 2024 Strategy 6 – Using Advanced Filters to find new product opportunities If you want to find out what’s happening in the top products on page one, this strategy can get you what most product hunters won’t be getting. Open up the Keywords option in the Black Box, enter 4,000 as minimum search volume (Or whatever figures you would like to enter based on your marketplace), set a price range, say $15-$60, use the Competitor Revenue filter and select the monthly revenue figure and put minimum 4 (Sellers selling more than $5,000), then select Competitor Reviews (Out of the drop-down list) let’s less than 75 reviews and minimum number of products (Who have less than 75 reviews), let’s say six and hit Search. Absolute basics for optimizing your Amazon listing: 1. Segment products into hero and non-hero 2. Conduct thorough keyword research 3. Revamp product images Once you get these 3 nailed down, you can experiment and optimize further, but without hitting these basics, you can inadvertantly struggle with converting customers. Amazon Product Research Strategies 2024 Strategy 2– How to find your competitor’s products You might already have products, and your competitor might be putting many products on display on a regular basis, so you might want to know what else they’re selling. Go to one of your competitor’s product pages and copy their brand name, now open up the Black Box page in Helium 10, turn on the Advanced button on the right-hand side against the search bar, and make sure to select the exact marketplace and the research mode on Products tab, now paste the brand name in one of the filters that says Exact Brand Search and hit Search. This should open up the list of all the items this brand sells. This is a great idea to search for new product ideas and stay competent. Note: Please choose the Exact Seller Search filter if you have the seller name, and if you have the brand name, then select the Exact Brand Search filter to get the results.
