NEW WORK: SHOP WITH GOOGLE BACK TO SCHOOL COLLEGE TOUR A holy SHADOW superfecta comprising our experiential, creative, account/PR, and social teams headed back to school with client Shop with Google to bring our Shopping 101 social content series to life on campuses across the country. Touching down at The University of Miami, Howard University, George Washington University, and The University of Wisconsin, a first-of-its kind pod resembling a dorm room and university study hall introduced students to a world of shopping with the ease of one of Google’s many incredible features: Lens. Within the pop-up space, we designed unique vignettes – think dorm room, study space, and reading corner – adorned with must-have back-to-school products. Syllabus week might mean anything but studying, but we couldn’t help but put students to the test with the “Lens it to Win It” challenge for a chance to win some amazing prizes to help them tackle the semester. We’re talking Dyson vacuums, AWAY luggage, laptops, and more! With nearly 3,300 new followers gained, over 1,900 prizes given away, and over 5,000 student participants, the activation passed with flying colors (Google-branded, of course), highlighting the Google Lens feature. Make sure you’re following @shopwithgoogle on Instagram, too! There’s more noteworthy content coming your way soon. A new and improved UWE Bristol app has been launched to help students to navigate university life. Using extensive feedback from students, the app has been redesigned with a new look and feel, improved functionality and new features, to support the user journey. Improvements include: • Updated user interface as we look to build brand consistency across our digital platforms • Improved accessibility, ensuring the app meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and is usable for everyone • Enhanced wayfinding - maps have been enhanced, incorporating UWE Navigator, allowing users to navigate to any room on any of our campuses • Geolocation features, meaning content will change depending on which campus you’re on (meaning students will only get information relevant to them and where they’re studying). If they move between campuses, it will automatically change to show campus maps, what events are happening on site, opening hours for catering outlets, etc. Stats show that over 98% of users of the app are current students, so updates have initially focused on improving their user experience. However, more work is planned to look at how the app can be used for prospective students and visitors to campus in the future. These improvements come at a core time in the academic year with thousands of new students set to join us next week. To see the new app, simply update the app in the App Store.

Just completed a very fun demo call with Petr Placek to learn about the Shovel Planner. Personally, I am NOT a fan of new apps, and get easily overwhelmed with technology. I do, however, use Google calendar - along with lots of other systems to supplement it. But I do find myself constantly thinking, "If only Google did THIS, then it would be awesome." This tool literally addressed all of my "if only's" - and those that I hear from students when they are planning out their semester. If you are a parent, coach, tutor, or ed therapist who is supporting a college student, I highly recommend you explore this tool, especially now ahead of the new new academic year. I'd love to hear from my network, are you familiar with this tool? Is this something that will add value to your service or your students? https://shovelapp.io/

Virtual Enrollment Success! Helping a Milwaukee Private School Thrive During COVID-19 I'm thrilled to share a project where we helped a private school in Milwaukee navigate the challenges of COVID-19. With the shift to virtual learning, the school needed a strong marketing strategy to attract new families to their program. Here's how we made a difference: Agile Marketing: We implemented an agile process, allowing us to quickly adapt and optimize the strategy based on real-time data. Compelling Web Design: We developed a user-friendly website showcasing the virtual learning environment and its benefits. Engaged Facebook Community: We activated their Facebook page, creating engaging content to connect with prospective parents. The results? The school not only exceeded its enrollment goals, but also received additional education funding. This project is a testament to the power of agility in today's ever-changing landscape. We were able to seamlessly integrate with the school's team and deliver results despite the challenges of the pandemic. Looking to overcome challenges and achieve success in a dynamic environment?
