Noise is still noise. And this noise is created to throw us off what really matters — "why did a preventable incident happen?" Stop patting ourselves on the back for something which could've been prevented altogether. There can be no excuses for incompetence, no matter how much Chee Hong Tat, Melvin Yong or whoever defends for Seah Moon Ming. SMRT has long lost its credibility. No amount of damage control will help, especially when it chose to only focus on guarding and protecting a nonexistent reputation. Just step down already. Let the next generation show you how things are done. Enough is enough.
