The Choose Clean Water Coalition is seeking a contractor to gather feedback and update the DEIJ in Action Guide Survey, first created in collaboration with the Chesapeake Bay Trust and Chesapeake Bay Funders Network in 2017. This project involves collecting candid and anonymous insights from grant-awarding entities, grant applicants, and NGOs to inform the next iteration of the guide. “Ideal for young professionals” usually means they don’t want to pay much, but that’s okay because younger folks are usually just so grateful they have been offered a job at all that they won’t try to negotiate. 😅 As if to emphasize this, the job posting contains the following: Hiring range minimum = please inquire. Hiring range maximum = please inquire. Not even a Salary Band reference that someone can go try to unearth from the bowels of their HR website. 🤦♂️ This is one big reason higher ed staff jobs are perceived as inaccessible. #salarytransparency needs to be more of a thing in higher education hiring!
