He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland. Morgan has an extensive background in the field, having served as technical director for the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) and taught graduate courses as adjunct faculty at the University of Maryland, WPI, and California Polytechnic State University. He is also the editor-in-chief of the 𝘚𝘍𝘗𝘌 𝘏𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦-𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯.
