One thing I know for sure is that when people genuinely want to help, they will. This principle applies across business, politics, and friendships. People are often impressed by those with big businesses and money, but I'm never swayed. Ninety-nine percent of the time, it's not their own money. They haven't had to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, build something from the ground up—anyone should be able to do well when they have millions to play with. I can always discern who they are—they tend to be rude, arrogant, expecting others to kiss their ass because that's how their funders treat them, and they see this as normal business practice. This is why so many of them crash and burn. I'm not interested in their advice or help. In 2023, Black-founded startups received only 0.48% of all venture capital funding, totaling $705 million out of $140.4 billion given to US-based startups. Black women are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the United States and received even less funding. Neither Republicans nor Democrats are coming to save you; they prioritize their interests and wealth for their own families, they will do anything to hold on to POWER. Listen, have pride and be fearless; tap into your ego. This is what helps you overcome fear and gain self-confidence! In business, especially if you're underfunded, this is crucial for success. These figures not only underscore the significant presence of small businesses but also highlight the diversity and resilience within our entrepreneurial landscape. Let’s continue to champion their endeavors and foster an environment conducive to their success.
