My favourite Bible Study Method. The Devotional Bible Study is the first method I'm going to introduce tomorrow to the Church. Christian will apply this method in their private BIBLE Studies. I have prepared notes and assignments for them to do over the week. Introducing this method is like issuing them new pair of eyes to see the truths that they have never seen in their lives every time they picked up the Bible to Read. I love this method because in this method Christians will have close relationships with the LORD and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit during their quiet time when meditating on the scripture under study. This method will also take you back in Bible Times and make you feel part of the scene or event as if your in it. I love it. It's pure gold. The truth discovered or observed during their quiet time will then be written down to create an application so they #correctly #apply the #WORD in their lives. Devotional method is all about understanding the word and correctly applying it. We created the tools how to develop applications out of the scripture and go out and practice the truths that you've discovered. 2 Timothy 2 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Hey there! Have you read your Bible today? Here are top 5 reasons why you should read your Bible today: 1. Guidance for Daily Living The Bible provides wisdom and principles to navigate life’s challenges and make sound decisions. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." 2. Strengthens Your Faith Regular Bible reading builds a deeper trust in God and reinforces His promises. Romans 10:17 reminds us, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." 3. Connects You with God Reading the Bible allows you to understand God’s character, hear His voice, and grow closer in your relationship with Him. 4. Provides Comfort and Encouragement During tough times, the Bible offers hope and assurance of God's unfailing love and presence. Passages like Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble," bring peace. 5. Equips You for Spiritual Growth The Bible equips you to live a Christ-like life, helping you discern truth, resist temptation, and grow spiritually. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Bible Reading 101. Three types of people read the Bible: 1. The first group are the ones who are not born again. Why would they be reading it? Curiosity? Study and comparison? Many “scholars of religion” study the world’s religions, and sometimes they can be so educated that they miss the Word of God. It is possible to know the Word of God without knowing Jesus. That seems odd, but it can happen. 2. The second group are the ones who are born again and read their Bible occasionally or have occasional seasons of their life where they read it every day. Many people that “attend church” have a copy or copies of the Bible in their home, but they collect dust. 3. Then there are the people who are saved and read their Bible, but they also do more than that. They are sooooo famished that they can’t get enough of it! They are hungry for the Word day and night. They discover scriptures, and it “turns them on their ear!” They want to tell the world about what they have “discovered.” They “see” as satan’s blinders fall off their eyes and discover that the more they study, the more they realize how much they don’t know, making them even more hungry as revelation of the Word hits them! “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.” (Joel 2:28) Like many of God’s promises, this one was fulfilled in Acts 2:17. This revelation opens people’s eyes to the Word. Even just speaking out the Bible as you read it is prophesying. So do it! Don’t forget that the Word is alive (John 1:1) and sharper than a two-edged sword (Heb. 4:12). Life is a test... How hungry are you for the Word? Reprinted from my book, "Life is a Test: Hope in a Confusing World" February 9 Volume 3. This is part 3 of a 4-part series.
