Are you ready for Black Friday? The truth is that most of us can’t believe it’s November and we are trying to cram everything in before the last 6 weeks of the year. And we will shop while recovering from a turkey coma. 🦃 We have been trained to think Black Friday will bring incredible deals and we will get ahead with holiday shopping. 🛍️ The marketing tactics have gotten really good and use FOMO, a sense of urgency and pricing strategies that compel us to buy even if we don’t need it. I am on my own sustainable fashion journey and here are a few tips that I keep in mind. Hope they will help you too: 🌟 Ask yourself if this is a need or a want? 🌟Would I buy this if it wasn’t on sale? 🌟 Does this fit my lifestyle? 🌟 Is this a flattering color and style for me? Black Friday shopping creates a lot of waste and pollution, with many items ending up in landfills after just a few uses.
