"World Water Day" is recognized annually on March 22, It reminds us of the critical need to conserve and sustainably manage water resources. Water is essential for life, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure its availability for future generations. The Belden facility in Nogales, Mexico introduced a rainwater collection system in 2023 with tanks collecting up to 235 cubic meters of rainwater! As Nogales is in a high-water stress area, investing in a water conservation project like this is especially impactful. It reduces stress on the local aquifer, which the local community uses as a water source, and enables us to repurpose the rainwater for basic water needs at the facility.
