I'm very bullish on healthcare. Like, all the way turned up. When two giants like Tony Robbins and Sam Nazarian partner, you know its serious. ↳ Their venture is focused on health, longevity clubs and hotels. ----------------- The concept will focus on integrating medical science and luxury, making top-tier wellness accessible in desirable locations like St. Kitts, the UK, and Switzerland. ↳Both Nazarian and Robbins aim to tap into the $5.6 trillion global wellness economy, Their vision involves expanding to 15 hotels and 10 longevity centres by 2030. ↳As someone who is very bullish on the health and wellness space, I see this as a timely and necessary development. This is worth paying attention to. Why? Because people are prioritising their health more than ever before. Just look at the trend from other health-focused companies like Neko Health from Spotify’s founder. This wave isn’t just a passing fad; it's the future. What’s the point of having a successful career or building wealth if you don’t have the health to enjoy it? Now more than ever, people want to invest in their well-being. ↳ Physical, mental, emotional — and this venture is a clear sign of how important it is to make that investment accessible. ----------------- Key takeaway: Health is the foundation for everything. You can't enjoy success, wealth, or even relationships if you're not at your best physically and mentally. This new venture brings that conversation to the forefront, and I couldn’t be more excited about the positive changes it will bring. What do you think about this? ----------------- ♻ Share this to help others learn about this new venture. 📌 I'm Dhruvin Patel, I write about performing your best at work & entrepreneurship

Excited to have spoken with the incredibly talented panel today at SXSW Sydney with the host Steven Maarbani VentureCrowd and guests Gretta van Riel of Hey Influencers, Vitadrop and Drop Bottle and Troy Douglas of Nexba where we explored key trends and lessons in the capital raising, especially in the health space given our passion for creating products that deliver health outcomes. Even in this tough economic climate, health focused businesses continue to attract strong interest from investors, especially in areas like biotechnology, health IT, and personalized health care where growth is inevitable given the current state of self-induced health decline globally… When investors can see the future vision for the business and are aligned with the values, then investment opportunities remain resilient, especially in digital platforms, driven by consistent demand for health based services and innovations in treatment technologies by those who are seeking solutions for the benefits of themselves or their loved ones. The shift towards value-based care and recession-resilient sectors like Medicare, NDIS, Homecare, and even privately funded health institutions offers tremendous opportunities for investors looking to make both a social and financial impact. During the panel, I emphasized the importance of staying true to your passion and long-term vision. When asked for my A key takeaway, well here it is…don’t underestimate the importance of alignment with your investors. Misalignment on values or goals can create significant friction, especially if there’s more focus on short-term returns than on making a genuine impact in health for our community. I’ve seen founders struggle when they compromise their mission to meet investor demands, leading to burnout and dilution of their vision resulting in ‘fads’ that fall as quickly as they rise. On the positive side, authenticity is key. When you’re deeply passionate about your vision—whether it’s addressing societal needs or fostering long-term health—that energy is contagious. Investors who resonate with your purpose will gravitate toward you. Surround yourself with those who not only believe in the numbers but also share your mission for positive health change and long-term sustainability as the results we create for the human race will enable generations to come to live longer, healthier and ultimately happier lives. My sole purpose with Be Fit Food is for consumers to see ‘Food as the first medicine’ and then everything else is the one percenters’! #SXSWSydney #HealthInnovation #ImpactInvestment #ValueBasedCare #Entrepreneurship #Sustainability #Leadership

Supergut: Empowering Wellness from the Inside Out with Marc Washington A Passionate Leader 💡 Marc Washington, the founder and CEO of Supergut, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a deep passion for health and wellness. Supergut isn't just his latest venture; it's a mission driven by a personal story and a desire to empower people to take control of their health through the power of gut microbiome science. A Career Dedicated to Wellness 🏋♂ Washington's path to Supergut wasn't a typical startup founder's journey. He boasts an impressive background in executive roles within the consumer wellness space, including experience with Beachbody . This experience instilled a strong belief in the potential of functional foods to create positive health outcomes. A Personal Drive ❤ However, it was a personal loss that truly ignited Washington's desire to make a deeper impact. His sister, Monica, battled metabolic health issues throughout her life and tragically passed away due to complications during pregnancy. Witnessing her struggle firsthand exposed the limitations of the healthcare system and the challenges people face in navigating a path to optimal health, especially when it comes to gut health. Supergut: Science-Backed Solutions 🔬 Supergut was born from this confluence of experience and personal motivation. Washington envisioned a company that could bridge the gap between cutting-edge gut microbiome science and delicious, convenient functional foods. Supergut's product line, including shakes, bars, and fiber mixes, is designed to empower users to nourish their gut from within. A Vision for a Healthier World 🌎 Supergut is more than just a brand; it's a movement towards a world where people can harness the power of their gut health for overall well-being. Washington is a leader to watch in the functional food space, and his company's science-backed approach to gut health is poised to make a significant impact on the lives of consumers. Are We Missing the Point? 🚨 The screenshot below worries me! Last week, I came across a report from the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) that made my heart sink. It highlighted a crucial issue in the design and delivery of digital health products and services that I am not sure is getting much better. How do I know this? Because I posted the screenshot below (full report in comments below) in one of my digital health communities and someone else commented on the fact that it’s almost become easier to build for procurers rather than end users. In my opinion, the only way to innovate and invest in the health and wellbeing ecosysystem is to take a systems based approach. It really is not as simple as purely designing for end users or consumers of health and wellbeing services. I’d go as far as saying that taking a systems based approach creates value for everyone in the ecosystem. It’s tough but it has to be done. Otherwise you end up with reports such as this one. Almost 12 years ago today -eek! I took a Master’s degree in Service Design, Business Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, we were taught to frame problems with 'how might we' questions to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and value is provided for all stakeholders. This approach is more relevant than ever. So, I’ll throw a few questions out there to spark some thought and discussion: 🛠️. How might we reduce barriers within the health and wellbeing ecosystem so founders and entrepreneurs can take a systems-based approach? 🌍. How might we design and create value for all stakeholders, including procurers? 🏥. How can we create products and services in a behemoth (the NHS has 1.34 million employees) where there is understandably tension between productivity and patient outcomes? Are there any other critical questions we should be asking? Let me know in the comments below. Let's discuss and find ways to drive innovation in consumer-led healthcare beyond raising finance. #ServiceDesign #Entrepreneurship #DigitalHealth #Healthinvest
