SIA licence holders play a vital role in protecting members of the public - often in the most demanding circumstances. Good operatives take all necessary steps to keep themselves, and anyone being restrained, as safe as possible. We attend a number of coroner’s inquests every year and see the sometimes tragic results of restraints that go wrong. It is important to remember the impact of such actions. ➡️ Watch our guidance video. https://orlo.uk/5EFrc #SIAInfo #ProtectingThePublic

What is an AED? An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a lightweight, portable device. It delivers an electric shock through the chest to the heart when it detects abnormal rhythm and changes the rhythm back to normal. Inside the AED box are pads and a diagram that shows you where to place the pads on the bare skin. Once the device is turned on, a voice will tell the person using the device EXACTLY what to do. AED’s are intended for use by the general public. They are portable, safe and easy to use. AED’s are found in ambulances, fire engines, and law enforcement vehicles. They can also be found in public ares such as sports venues, shopping malls, airplanes, hotels, schools, community pools or businesses. IMPORTANT. Do the RNC & PA GOP know the exact locations of ALLPA OUTSIDE BALLOT DROP BOXES across the state. Are their both video cameras and private citizens to watch those drop boxes 24 / 7 looking for people dumping thousands of ballots? What can those people do to LEGALLY stop the dumping of fake ballots into those drop boxes?

The number of reported occurrences since this article was published is still a reason for concern. And here is the event description.

Did you know? When a child is properly restrained rear-facing, the head and neck move together with the car seat, allowing forces in a crash to be spread across the shell of the car seat. This protects the child’s head, neck and torso and reduces the risk of neck and spine injuries. Safe System Snippet - Lateral Protection Devices Fitted to trucks, Lateral Protection Devices (LPDs) are an effective way to lessen the severity of a crash with a pedestrian or cyclist. According to Knight et. al (2005) the effectiveness of LPDs in preventing fatalities in crashes with the side of large trucks range from 50 to 74 per cent for bicyclists and 17 to 27 per cent for pedestrians. Another tragedy: LSM TrainSense® (Int. pat. pend.) https://lnkd.in/g9uivmvU offers a low-cost and effective world first solution. This CAAS mitigation technology can save lives and prevent injury compared to more expensive, less effective systems. LSM TrainSense® can integrate or augment with other level crossing technology and is focused on eliminating human error, behavioural issues, and environmental factors. LSM TrainSense® provides audible and visual alerts inside the driver’s cabin, can initiate vehicle deceleration, braking, or automatic emergency braking (AEB) if warnings are ignored using associated technology mandated for HGV's in the EU, UK, USA and Australian standards (ADR97/00 and ADR108/00). In addition, our LSM BridgeSense® (int. pat. pend.) technology, https://lnkd.in/gJR4p9Jn can also be integrated into our proposed LSM TrainSense®- an ALL in one- single in- cabin safety device.
