Every two days, there's another announcement about a new factory opening. Thanks to the Biden-Harris Investing in America agenda, we've seen groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings all across the country — the signs of America re-industrializing. In the coming years, we'll continue to see the fruition of this Administration's work.
To save the planet, we need DE-Industrialization, not more. ANY of these projects that involve stripping forests to break ground, should be declared illegal.
The government should not be involved in picking winners and losers in industry. We want free market enterprise not government sponsored failure.
A bit surprised by the hatred expressed by some even on a professional social media platform like LinkedIn. The old adage ‘if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything’ seems completely forgotten and/or ignored in the brave new world of today where the most nasty attitudes seems to be people’s prefrerd way to make a point.
It's a shame that the MAGA bobble heads would engage in negative comments concerning new factories being built for new technology. Why not be proactive and lead the charge to educate the people to work in the factories? All the division based upon stupidity does not help the country. Regardless of affiliations, people will need a new skill set to function in the new factories. Let's join forces to resolve the issues as opposed to a continuation of creating new sound bites that will keep us divided and not moving forward.
Unlike inflation, Jennifer Granholm is transitory in her current role #energymarketingpro #opentowork
It is time for the American and Norwegian financial regulators to come forward regarding what Hanwha is doing in the company REC Silicon. They have been playing a pretty dirty game by delaying receiving raw materials from REC Silicon to avoid paying the advance payment they have agreed to in the contract. They should be familiar with the political conflict between the countries of the USA and China that resulted in REC having to close ML in 2019. And now being a major shareholder Hanwha who owns 33.3% in REC Silicon chooses to send raw materials from REC to China for testing. First for several weeks the raw material is stopped in China customs, and several weeks later the result comes that the purity level is not approved. 1- This is nothing more than using Hanwha's time to get Q-Cells ready, as is known, Q-Cells is already delayed and is not ready to receive anything until mid-2025. 2- REC Silicon has always produced the cleanest product in the market, but suddenly they are unable to deliver enough power to the market due to the Chinese state-owned company. This is nothing more than a dirty game from Hawnha and the Chinese.
Kudos to the current administration for setting this massive re-industrialization of America in motion during the last 4 years without expectations of whether or not they will be re-elected. That in my opinion is the real example of putting the Country first. Hopefully Americans will see the truth when these new factories start operating and generating employment in their towns in the coming years.
The inflation reduction act was a scam.
Well done!

5h950 announcements of factories is not an accomplishment. Actual new factories would have a more measurable effect on the economy. As Secretary of Energy, should you include a detailed plan as to how you plan to provide energy to these factories? Are they all going to run on solar? Do the labor agreements include unscheduled days off during cloudy, rainy or snowy days? It’s easy to make announcements but strategy, implementation and project management is much more difficult. This is where government officials stumble, they rarely consider logistics and routinely try to solve issues with the power of federal spending. All this does is lead to higher inflation and a host of empty promises.
