Congratulations to SEA-LNG members Shell and ZIM Integrated Shipping Services on the first bunkering operation of the ZIM Mount Vinson! 👏    The company used the Progress bunker vessel to deliver to ZIM’s 15,000 TEU boxship at the Port of Savannah last week. The ship subsequently bunkered the CMA CGM Symi this week. The bunker vessel – the largest Jones Act LNG bunker barge – was delivered earlier this month.    The supply infrastructure to support LNG as a marine fuel continues to grow. It can now be delivered to vessels in some 185 ports, including most of the main bunkering ports, with a further 50 ports in the process of facilitating LNG bunkering investments and operations by 2025.    LNG bunkering infrastructure can be used to supply net-zero emissions fuels in the form of liquefied biomethane or liquefied e-methane, with little or no modification, enabling the transition to a decarbonised shipping industry.    Read more via Ship & Bunker: https://lnkd.in/gcE_Vqdw     #LNG #Decarbonisation #ShipsAndShipping
