🎤 Don't Miss Out on My Upcoming Conference! 🚀 Exciting news! I'll be talking all about Bevy Engine – how its input system works, its ecosystem, web and WebAssembly challenges, and making things better for everyone! But guess what? 🤩 You can watch it out NOW: I already gave this talk at the first bevy meetup by Rustunit! 🔗 Check it out in the comments! Now, why am I revisiting this topic months later? Well, because all the hard work I put in has now been upstreamed, making the entire Bevy ecosystem even stronger. 🌟 It's a testament to the power of collaboration and opensource development, and I couldn't be prouder to have played a part in it. 😊 Ever had trouble with web and WebAssembly? Share your stories with me! Let's tackle these challenges together. 💬 #Bevy #Rust #WebAssembly #opensource

In a recent conversation with a DevRel friend, I mentioned how #DevRel used to focus on #DevEx metrics (especially for early-stage companies focused on developer awareness and activation) like "Time to Joy" and "Hello World" (and different variations of them). Also mentioned was how much Developer Experience was such a big point of DevRel, and how odd it was that so many moved away from this positioning - leading to tool companies and services taking over the term and making it about "Developer Productivity" and metrics to show how well a company can squeeze pennies out of their developers. I'm wondering, who still has metrics like these for their DevRel programs, and if so, what are they exactly?

Just wrapped up building a mini YouTube clone! 🎬 Tried out the Recoil library for the first time to manage state, and it made handling things like video data and user interactions a lot smoother. Highlights of my learning: - Successfully implemented category-based video fetching using atomFamily and selectorFamily. - Improved performance by only re-rendering components that need to update. - Used Recoil's async capabilities to manage video data and comments efficiently. It’s been a great learning experience diving deeper into React and trying out a new state management tool. Excited to apply what I've learned in future projects. Onwards and upwards! 🙌 #React #Recoil #WebDevelopment #LearningByBuilding
