I don’t trust unoptimized LinkedIn profiles. Unoptimized = unprofessional. Neglecting your LinkedIn profile is like handing out a crumpled business card. It doesn't inspire confidence or trust. 9 Tips for Business Consultants to Generate More Business on LinkedIn. As a consultant and coach, getting leads might be one of your main goals. But if you are not following these tips, you’ll have a hard time achieving that goal. 1. Stop posting in groups, post on your profile. 2. Post 70% Industry related content, 20% Personal and 10% CTA content. 3. Define your ICP 4. Identify your ideal audience’s Pain points. 5. Talk about how you can solve those Pains. 6. Start DM’ing your potential clients. 7. Be very specific in your Posts, About section, Bio and Banner. 8. Stop writing in paragraphs as it’s not easy on the eyes. 9. Start giving your posts some structure by writing in single sentences and bullet points. These might require more time and thought, but they are far more effective than your old strategy of posting and ghosting. P.S.
