2025 is shaping up to be the year the IPO window reopens.
With a queue of companies poised to go public, we’re predicting a wave of IPOs in the year’s second half, fueled by the current economic momentum. This surge could spark a flurry of last-minute, late-stage funding rounds—some likely to be oversubscribed and potentially overvalued.
What do you think? Are we on the brink of an IPO boom, or could market dynamics surprise us?

I run a venture capital firm and here are our predictions for 2025. Number one, the IPO window reopens. There is a big backlog of companies that are waiting to go IPO go public and many of them will end up going public in the second-half of 2025. It's expected to be a series of successful IPO's given the current economic momentum, which means that just. Before those IPOs, there is going to be a number of last minute late stage funding right rounds that could get oversubscribed, possibly overvalued as well. Feel free to add comments. Feel free to react, agree, disagree. I look forward to a great discussion.

2dAgree with this prediction - probably more US-centric than globally applicable - and look forward to it crystalizing in 2025.
