I don’t typically post non-work or non-business on here, but this is too good not to share. This past weekend, I competed in my first powerlifting competition. Coming in at 77kg (170lbs ish) in the 82.5kg (180lbs ish) Masters (40yr+), I took first place in the class. I played it ultra conservative with my squats and deadlifts, but more than thrilled with the outcome. I see a lot of parallels between my fitness and what I do. Constantly improving, being better tomorrow than today, managing risks and monitoring metrics…whether it’s Project Management or Powerlifting, I view it through similar lenses. #powerlifting #usapl #projectmanagement #riskmanagement #fitness #health
