1 thing is for sure 2 things are for certain. Many corporations and companies will need a website and content overhaul to be found in SearchGPT. Why? Well, SearchGPT is optimized for a few things in its onset that Google lightly touched on: 1. Content Density - Not Fluff (Semantics will play a huge part in this shift). SEOs who haven't adapted to GenAI search are trained on optimizing for Google but in the GenAI search experience sites that are being served are optimized for Semantics (an upgrade from NLP). IE - Go deep not wide. 2. Technical SEO. Yep, I know that's not what many SEOs want to hear but if your content cannot be assessed easily, SearchGPT - will not spend it's time trying to figure you out. Google played nice - SearchGPT isn't. 3. Accuracy matters. For the companies that reallllly want to get ahead - go to the source. Site trusted sources and use credible and well know people (who have an online presence). Much like backlinks but instead credibility matters 10X more. Your authors and your sources should be credible (and known). If you focus on 1 and 2 - you'll see traction.
