#Metlen made a significant contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 4, 10 and 17 (Goal 4 "Quality Education", Goal 10 “Reduced Inequalities" and 17 "Cooperation for the goals") by providing invaluable support for the implementation of the Disability Awareness Educational Programme "Focus on the Person" of SKEP - Σ.Κ.Ε.Π. By employing the international methodology SROI (Social Return on Investment), #Metlen demonstrated that for every €1 invested in the educational programme "Focus on the Person", €4.13 of social value was generated.

A fragmented approach to neurodiversity in education will never yeild succes while individuals continue to advocate for their own agendas. 🧩Parents fight for their children's needs 🧩schools fight for legiue tables prioritising data 🧩local authorities fight for different results often with the same professionals around the table 🧩services fight an abundance of annually raising referals with long waiting lists 🧩 policymakers fight each other - and often introduce short-lived, complicated solutions. This fragmented approach highlights the need for a more cohesive and proactive strategy to support neurodiverse individuals in the education system. #Neurodiversity #Education #Inclusion creating more of what does not work - will still not work ‼️

Retaining children in school. The New Education Policy emphasizes enhancing the Gross Enrollment Ratio in schools. However, we as educators need to understand that all of this is possible when we develop a sense of joy in learning. A child should feel that he is heard, his needs are met and his language and culture are appreciated in the classroom.
