Sri Lanka dropped the visa extension bomb. Hearing this stirs up curiosity, right? Sri Lanka ends visa extensions for Russians & Ukrainians. Because they have been living their best island life since the whole Ukraine invasion saga. And then they just ended the long-term tourist visa extensions for thousands of Russians and Ukrainians. So, no more extended stays, folks – pack your bags by March 7. Not everybody but few Russians & Ukrainians are believed to have settled in Sri Lanka. It is not clear how many stayed longer than the usual 30-day tourist visa. And here comes the interesting thing – the foreigners have started restaurants and set up nightclubs it seems. We all know, right? Overstaying any kind of visa is an offense. People can go behind bars for that. Repost this to your community so that people can be alert on their Visa tenure. Taiwan considers extending visa-on-arrival for Indian travellers As per the latest reports, Taiwan is considering extending visa-on-arrival for Indian citizens, in a move that could likely streamline travel for Indian nationals to the island nation. Referring to this, Taiwan Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Chung Kwang Tien recently highlighted the high frequency of travel by Indian nationals to Taiwan. Also, as per the records, more than 3,000 Indian students are currently studying in the country. This potential visa-on-arrival arrangement would further make it easier for Indian citizens to visit Taiwan for tourism, business, and education purposes. https://lnkd.in/gaMj_h5g #taiwan #extending #visa #onarrival #indian #travellers #island #nation #indians #nationals #indian #students #tourism #business #education #travel #traveling #traveladvisory #travelindustry #travelagent TraveLICE TraveLICE Customercare

Big update for Indians: Russia is set to open its doors to India to travel without any visa! Context: A new visa-free travel agreement is in place between Russia and India which may boost the tourist numbers from India to Russia by 30%. Russian federal officials are also working on a project to enable virtual cards for Indians to travel to Russia. (Russia already made such agreements with China and Iran.) More than 60,000 Indians travelled to Moscow in 2023 (which is a 25% jump since 2022). In fact, Indians are the top foreign tourists in the city — and now Russia wants to attract more of them. ✅ Here are 3 potential benefits to Russia from this move: - Increased tourism: This is the main goal for Russia. The county has already been investing heavily in beach zones, hotel chains, flights, and more. - Stronger relations: Visa-free travel will strengthen connections between India and Russia, which will encourage broader cultural exchange and business partnerships. - Cheaper option: Eliminating visa fees will make Russia a more budget-friendly travel option for Indians. (Not to mention the reduced stress of needing a visa) This program is set to be launched by the end of 2024. … Finally, if you’re an immigrant in America, join 15,000+ who get my weekly newsletter packed with breaking news & free resources like this: https://lnkd.in/gKtUGU-r :) #unshackled #immigration #Russia #India #Visa #Travel
