On 19th December 2005, a young and eager professional took his first steps into the corporate world, walking through the grand and magnificent Infosys Mysore campus. That day marked the beginning of an incredible journey filled with challenges, growth, and countless opportunities to learn and evolve. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of some amazing organizations, each with its unique culture, goals, and ways of working. From Infosys to Kantar, Dassault Systems, Fujitsu, Fulcrum Digital, Exxat, Rayden, Phreesia, and now Kipi.ai, every experience has added a new dimension to my professional and personal growth. Here are some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way: One size does not fit all: What works in one organization may not work in another. Success lies in understanding and adapting to the unique dynamics of each workplace. Empathy and connection matter: Building genuine relationships, staying connected with employees, and being open to feedback are essential for growth—both as a professional and as a human being. Learn, unlearn, and adapt: Staying flexible and evolving with changing circumstances is critical to achieving your goals and navigating challenges. Be authentic: Being genuine in your actions and behavior helps build trust and long-lasting connections. Stay human: Strong relationships are built on respect, kindness, and understanding. At the end of the day, it’s about being human in how we treat and connect with others. As I reflect on these 19 years, I feel incredibly fortunate for the opportunities I’ve had and the amazing people I’ve met along the way.
