In my humble opinion , leadership alignment across departments is essential. When marketing works on what development team builds, and sales promises only what our teams can deliver and the tech team works on what sells ! Then, we achieve more than just goals, we create trust and synergy. Let’s make alignment our priority and see the extraordinary happen. #alignmentmatters #trustinleadership #leadershipandtrust #misalignedgoals

No matter what your C-Suite thinks, prospects buy at their own pace and in their own time. All we can do as professional sales leaders is ensure that our team can support the prospect as they make their way through their own internal buying committee and journey. Sometimes though it feels like we're pulling dead weight as the deal sticks around in the pipeline forever. But when we respect their needs and be clear on how we hit their nex milestone good things happen. It's called servant leadership. And when you act with this mindset you can pull the goalie across the goal line. #sales #salesleadership #hockeylife

Why do some sales teams thrive while others struggle? It’s not luck—it’s about having the right process and leadership. 💼💡 On the latest Sales Talk for CEOs, Alice Heiman dives into the story of Gui Costin, founder of dakota, and his journey to building a thriving sales organization in the niche world of investment management. 💪📈 What’s the secret? Gui created a clear, repeatable sales process—the “Dakota Way”—that set his team up for success. Instead of expecting magic from new hires, he built the structure, documented it, and stayed hands-on in the early stages to ensure clarity and consistency. 🔑 If you’re scaling a sales team, this conversation is a must-listen. 🎧 Hear the full story here: https://lnkd.in/gxWYU3th #SalesLeadership #SalesProcess #BusinessGrowth #SalesTalkforCEOs #GrowthMindset

Change is constant in sales. Markets, environment, people, systems, technology, etc, are all evolving around us and if you’re not taking steps to grow in line with what’s changing, then you’re likely to be left behind and may even find yourself standing still. Whilst fundamentals of sales will not change, if you don’t move with the times, then there is a risk that you will struggle to embrace future changes. There is sometimes a mentality within businesses and teams that ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’. The reality is that if you don’t continuously focus on improving your systems, processes and address potential issues early on, they will become anomalies that at some point may spiral out of control and be significantly bigger and tougher to manage in the future.
Change is more than necessary; it's our collective journey in sales, impacting every level from leadership to operations. It's not just about new tools or processes but evolving together towards a better future. 🌟 What's your take on embracing change in sales? 🏔️ What's the most creative thing you've done to win a sale? 🏔️ Sometimes, it’s the unexpected, out-of-the-box moves that make the biggest impact... and they make your job more fun. I once took a creative approach to connect with a client, and within weeks, we closed a major deal that had been stuck in limbo. The result? Not just a win for my quota, but visibility with upper leadership and a new perspective on what it takes to stand out in a crowded field. Takeaway: If you want to win big, think beyond the usual tactics and find ways to make your customer’s day. Creativity counts! 🌟 #SalesTips #SalesStrategy #ThinkOutsideTheBox #CustomerExperience #TechSales #Leadership
