I vote "helpful!" When I worked in retail stores and restaurants 25 years ago, it was exhausting having to constantly chase down someone who could tell me what I needed to do next. It was also frustrating when I needed to find someone who could help me help a customer. I never liked telling them to "hold on" or "follow me" so I could get them the info or items they needed. But I didn't have a choice. I didn't have a mobile device with me much less an AI assistant of sorts. So, if an on-device AI can be both that task assigner and all-knowing source of job-related information, seems like it could be pretty helpful to a frontline worker. It's like a personal assistant that's keeping you organized, informed and focused on the right things, making you look good and your life easier. What do you think?
What do you think about on-device AI? Is it all hype or will it prove helpful to frontline workers? Our Chief Technology Officer, Tom Bianculli sat down with Art Miller from Qualcomm and Rouzbeh Aminpour from Google Cloud to break down the benefits of this new approach to AI so you can decide for yourself. 🎧 Hear what they have to say in our new podcast episode, and let us know your opinions. https://lnkd.in/gFugmpkh
