“My staff are driving me crazy. All they do is bring me problems. There are days when I hate running this business.” 😭 Sue, CEO of an innovative IT company, was like this when we started working together. The CEO is often the only 'peer-less' role in an organisation. It stands alone at the top. It’s powerful and influential, often exciting and rewarding. I just returned from a two-day adventure in the Blue Mountains, where I had the incredible opportunity to facilitate a strategic planning session with my client's Board. 🤝✨ Here’s how I was able to help, (despite it being to hot today!) and some of the type of work I do with boards. 1️⃣ Empowering the Board: As an external facilitator, my role was to empower the Board members to unleash their collective brilliance.
