Saravana Kumar’s Post

Life of a CEO As a CEO, there are countless moments when we must put on a brave face, regardless of what’s happening behind the scenes. I have encountered various scenarios running Kovai.co for the past 13 years, where scenarios really test your resilience and will power. Here is one such incident. The first picture on the left was taken at 9th June - 22:17, my second son returned from a weekend school trip with a broken wrist and we ended up in the A&E department for about 5 hours. It was a long, emotional night, filled with worry and the natural concerns of a parent. The second picture was taken at 10th June - 09:02 in London, I stood in front of over 700+ people (300 in person, 400+ joined online) on our annual conference INTEGRATE 2024 delivering the keynote. In moments like these, it becomes clear that leadership often means setting aside personal challenges to fulfill professional commitments. It’s not always easy, but it’s part of the role we accept when we choose this path. Life doesn’t pause for business, and business doesn’t pause for life. It’s about finding that balance, and sometimes, it’s about simply showing up, even when it’s tough.

You're right—prioritizing professional responsibilities over personal challenges can be incredibly difficult, it requires lot of emotional strength.
