Growth is a continuous journey, not a destination. At Lilly we have the commitment to always get better at what we do. As leaders and professionals, we have a responsibility to not only adapt to change but also to embrace opportunities to grow and improve. I recently completed the AI for Business course with Purdue University. Some key takeaways from the course: 🔹 AI isn’t just about technology—it’s about strategy. Integrating AI effectively requires aligning it with business objectives and understanding its potential to create real value. 🔹 The human factor remains central. AI can augment decision-making, but empathy, creativity, and ethical considerations remain uniquely human strengths that should guide its use. 🔹 Continuous learning is essential. In a rapidly evolving field like AI, staying curious and open to new ideas is critical to staying ahead. This experience reinforced the importance of lifelong learning—not just for personal growth but also for becoming better leaders. When we invest in ourselves, we create opportunities to positively impact our teams, organizations, and communities. ✨ Global Leader Summit in Vienna ✨ Yesterday, I had the honor of moderating a panel on Leadership in AI at the Global Leader Summit by the female factor in Vienna – and discussing the New Era of Leadership with incredible leaders. 👩💻 Here are my top 3 takeaways from the discussion: 1️⃣ Human leadership remains essential: Despite rapid advancements in AI, the human component remains key.
