Which types of views do you find most useful, and why? I'm keen to learn about your best practices and any specific challenges you've encountered. #ABAP #DataModeling #CDSViews

🚀 Let's kick it up a notch on the way to #CamundaCon NY https://lnkd.in/e8gCBpPH! Over the next fortnight, I'll be dropping some tidbits about our Camunda-SAP Integration. It's like a gourmet menu of integration goodness, served in bite-sized portions! 😋 🔌 First up: The OData Connector! It shows in Modeler as a regular BPMN task and can interact with any OData v2 and v4 APIs on any SAP System, be it an S/4 flavor or ECC 💪 🦸♂️ But wait, there's more - errors in SAP interactions? No problem! The connector catches them and lets you handle them right in the model. No need to bat-signal for your IT support - you've got the power now! 😎

With the new feature(/cap-edit-model) of enhancing the existing CAP Data Model and Services with Joule in SAP Build Code, now we can enhance CDS data model and services of a existing CAP project contextually and incrementally. In this blog post 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gF58H96x , I will walk you through a practical guide of using Joule beyond editing data model itself with this feature, such as ⚓ code explanation, extracting design documentation, ⚓ improving code readability with comments, ⚓ role-based code review, ⚓ implementing best practices, ⚓ pre-production check and improvement etc. Alessandro Biagi, Jacob T., Mostafa Sharaf, Alice Magnani, Cesare Calabria, Trinidad Martinez, Thiago Mendes, Dr. Merza Klaghstan, Gianluigi Bagnoli, Pavel Penaz
