A brief yet useful visual information for policymakers. Though some initiatives in both of the metropolitan (capital city of Nepal) areas are going on, they are inadequate owing to the location of the city and limited funds and resources at the local level. Collaboration between local levels in the valley for walking and biking infrastructures and implementing promising public transit vigorously through newly formed public transportation authority commensurately is the need of the day. In addition, the federal government should loosen its grip over urban road networks. This is how sustainable modes of transportation would be realized, at least in the capital city. #sustainabletransport #walking #biking #publictransit #Kathmandu
