Santa Fe Relocation’s Post

Global Perspectives — On 2 December, the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery focuses on eradicating contemporary forms of slavery, including human trafficking and forced labour. The 2023 Global Slavery Index estimates that 50 million people are living in modern slavery, with women and children disproportionately affected. This day calls for global action to combat these violations and protect vulnerable populations. At Santa Fe, we are guided by the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which include a strong commitment to eliminating forced labour and supporting human rights. Through ethical practices and responsible business operations, we aim to contribute to global efforts that promote dignity, fairness, and freedom for all individuals.
