One such experience came in 2011, just after I joined Avaya Bangalore. The company had recently acquired Nortel, which meant big changes for the team. New processes, shifting roles, and even potential job impacts made it a challenging time for everyone. During this period, our leader, Motaz Farag, faced some difficult decisions. What stood out to me was his commitment to transparency. He communicated openly with the team about the changes and shared key information that helped us understand what lay ahead. His straightforward, honest approach built trust and a sense of respect within the team. This clarity in communication made all the difference, creating a stable environment in uncertain times. 💡 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 That experience taught me that transparency isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s a core part of great leadership.
