Let’s clear something up!!! A content writer is not the same as a graphic designer. These are entirely different skill sets. Even within content writing, there are specific niches like copywriting, UX writing, SEO writing, blogging, and more. However, I've noticed that many companies are conflating these roles, expecting content writers to also have expertise in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and graphic design. While it’s true that these can be valuable additional skills, they shouldn’t be considered mandatory. Recently, I came across a café in Guwahati that wanted a content writer to handle Canva graphics, digital marketing, and even sales, all for just 15k per month!
