Consistency can win over skills and talent. I know that’s been true in my life. - I woke up at 4a.m consistently everyday for many years (even before the alarm ⏰ rang) - I journaled first thing in the morning. - I went for a run - I had a good breakfast with protein. Before 9a.m I got a lot done. The result: I qualified for Boston. Ran a sub-3 hour marathon. Finished all the marathon majors. Won and came top-3 in trail marathons with 9000 to 14000 Ft elevation that are super hard. That was pre-pandemic. The reality now is: I am struggling to go to bed early, wake up early, journal everyday, get the 130 to 150 grams of protein, do atleast 2 to 3 workouts a week. Am I not motivated? Far from it! I am giving myself grace that there are stressful things I have had to go through and going through right now. There are other priorities that are taking up my time and mental space as an Investor and Operator. The system keeps reminding me I am an Immigrant, I am brown etc etc. I am committed to getting back on track. Today is day 26 of posting on LinkedIn everyday. Keep me Honest! #Consistency #Running #BQ #Marathon #Journaling #MorningPages #Longevity #Health #LearningInPublic #Investor #Operator #Immigrant

1moThese struggles are in everyone’s life where we are not our best version as we are focusing on something else but sharing them, acknowledging them and trying to get back to that consistency is difficult and requires hard work.
